Boarding & Disembarking Location

All boarding and disembarking takes place at the downtown Coeur d’Alene public boat launch — the Third Street Dock. No need to choose a location; just pick your boarding and disembarking times below.

A full-day rental is up to 8 hours of boating; a half-day rental is any 4-hour block. Pick your boarding and disembarking times between 8AM and 8PM (for example, 8AM to 4PM for the full 8 hours, or 9AM to 1PM for a half day).

I confirm that I am at least 25 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and agree to a strict no drinking or drug use policy while operating the boat. If tubing, I understand a dedicated, sober spotter is required, and that orange safety flags must be displayed whenever swimmers are in the water. I understand this is a bare-rental and I am responsible for the boat and all passengers.

After you submit this request, a Bigfoot CDA staff member will contact you by text or phone within the next few hours to finalize your pontoon reservation.

To confirm and hold your reservation, a 50% deposit is due at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due at pontoon pickup.

This deposit is fully refundable, minus a $100 cancellation fee, if cancelled at least 72 hours before your rental date. Cancellations within 72 hours will forfeit the deposit in full.

At pickup, a $2,000 security deposit is due. This is a credit hold on your card — not a charge — and is fully refunded unless the boat, prop, or motor is damaged by driver or passenger misuse or negligence. Each rental includes a full boat operation tutorial covering safe navigation and emergency response.
